President Bill Clinton’s Soul Cycle appearance confirmed, Spandex unconfirmed

Chelsea Clinton runs with her father in Martha's Vineyard. Is a father-daughter Spin next?

As our readers know, Chelsea Clinton is a devoted Soul Cycle rider. When she’s not busy getting married or honeymooning, the amazingly grounded former First Daughter rides daily at the Tribeca temple to indoor cycling. Back in January of this year, she chaired a special benefit ride for The Clinton Haiti Relief Fund. Front row seats went for $1,000.

Now she’s bringing her dad into the studio. Soul Cycle just announced a second ride to benefit Haiti for August 28th at the BridgeHampton location. President Bill Clinton, writes Soul Cycle, will make “a special appearance.” No word yet on whether he’ll be speaking or donning bike shorts.

A post-workout Chelsea Clinton is a fixture in Tribeca, where Soul Cycle is based

Well+Good called the Bridgehampton location where it sounds like all hell has broken loose. “We can only say that President Clinton will be appearing, we don’t know anything else,” said one breathless staffer, who suggested I contact Clinton’s press office.

Given that President Clinton dropped 20 pounds for Chelsea’s wedding, it’s entirely possible that the famously game President might clip in for some jumps and jogs. No word yet on pricing for this 60-minute ride led by instructors Laurie Cole and Stacey Griffith. Interested riders need to e-mail [email protected] for pricing information.
