Bliss spas finally go (a little bit) natural
Trendy Bliss spas, with three New York City locations alone and its product line with puns like the No ‘Zit’ Sherlock Spot Treatment, has natural beauty news:
The company just added Pomega5 to its retail roster, making the pomegranate-powered products the first all-natural beauty brand sold at Bliss, through the BlissWorld website, and the company’s the super popular catalog.
Pomega5 products will debut on March 1. But frankly, we’re surprised that the hip beauty brand hasn’t gotten around to this before now.
Karine Tiano, Bliss Director of Merchandising, says the decision was partly fueled by customers clamoring for a back-to-nature option. “Our choice to launch Pomega5 at Bliss is the result of both customers demand in the spas and a wish to complement our product offering with natural products that are high-end and effective.” Pomega5 products, which contain biodynamic and organic ingredients, start at $22 for a cleansing bar and top out at $145 for a moisturizer.
And Tiano likes that Pomega5 offers a “unique concept based on pomegranate and 110 active ingredients. The research behind it is amazing and the products really work.”
Still no all-natural facials on the menu at Bliss. But we’re ready with a name for an anti-aging treatment when they are: “Nature Preserve Me.” —Melisse Gelula
