New York mom Alicia Keys endorses Latham Thomas’s first book, Mama Glow, a chic guide to healthy pregnancy.

Holistic guru Latham Thomas’ first book, Mama Glow, officially hit shelves on Tuesday with a “glowing” endorsement from healthy celeb mom, Alicia Keys.

Physique 57 launched a brand-new online workout series, so barre-beauties anywhere can tuck and tone at home with co-founder Tanya Becker and popular New York teachers. Classes are $5–7.

One Lucky Duck’s shopping website got a makeover that makes it easier for vegan, raw foodies to stock up on Macaroons and Spicy Cashews.

Brooklyn Pilates fave, The Fitness Guru, announced it will open a new 8,000-square-foot fitness center in Dumbo in collaboration with Bike Brooklyn. The center will open in early 2013 with group fitness classes, indoor cycling, Pilates, and personal training.

Flywheel is set to open a new, stand-alone studio on the Upper West Side, after operating out of the JCC in the neighborhood for three years.

A fire destroyed the indie Avenue B yoga studio East Yoga on Sunday night, and the studio is now hosting classes at Alphabet City Sanctuary until the studio is rebuilt.

The former chairman of Chipotle is bringing fast-casual Mediterranean food to New York. Roti Mediterranean Grill will open in the Financial District in January, with 10 more NYC locations to follow.

And East Village vegan hotspot Gingersnap’s Organics launched its first all-juice cleanse, the Go Liquid Cleanse.

Erno Laszlo, the company named for its skin-care guru to the (early film) stars, is back with a Fifth Avenue Institute after a 40-year hiatus. The reopening is featuring a retrospective display of (his most famous client) Marilyn Monroe’s clothing.

On Election Day, Proposition 37, the law that would have mandated GMO labeling in California, was defeated. Anti-GMO advocates had hoped that the passage of the law would create momentum for larger, national efforts at labeling.

AntiGravity yoga

Studio Anya will turn your yoga upside down.

Flatiron Pilates-and-more space Studio Anya added AntiGravity Yoga and Pilates to its offerings, with a new area within the studio called the Holding Space, where clients can get off the ground.

Tara Stiles posted online versions of her Strong and Relax classes for yogis to download at $15 per class.

The Rubin Museum of Art’s Visionary Circle is hosting a Diwali Party to kick off the Indian Festival of Lights on Tuesday, November 13, with Bhangra dancing, Indian food, and more.
