Recipe: Cucumber Watermelon Smoothie

Whether you sip it poolside or pre- or post-workout, this month’s smoothie will deliver a sweet, delicious dose of ultra-hydration on hot summer days.

It’s made with a super refreshing blend of coconut water, cucumber, and watermelon for immediate thirst-quenching and electrolyte-replenishing. And dinosaur kale toughens it up by adding fiber and the flood of antioxidants and nutrients we depend on super greens for.

Finally, a little lime and mint provides the perfect tangy twist. Go ahead, try to drink it without saying “Ahhh…” —Jennifer Kass

Cucumber Watermelon Smoothie

Blend and enjoy!

1 cup coconut water
1 small organic cucumber
1 cup frozen watermelon
2 leaves of organic dinosaur (also called Lacinato and Tuscan) kale
1/2 a lime
7 leaves of fresh mint
