For De La Rue, doing five hours a day of calorie-torching dance cardio alongside clients (Emmy Rossum, Anne Hathaway) calls for some sippable nutrition.

Known for her infectious, calorie-torching blend of dance cardio and sculpting classes, pint-sized dynamo Simone De La Rue is forever jetting between her Body By Simone studios in Los Angeles and New York City to train Naomi Watts, Emmy Rossum, and Anne Hathaway (to name a few).

“I am extremely active, and between traveling with clients or visiting my studios, I'm always on the road,” says De La Rue. “I usually also work out alongside my clients to motivate them, so that can add up to three to five hours of exercise a day. It’s really important for me to fuel my body and make sure I am getting the nutrients I need to rebuild muscle."

Her complete nutrition ethos is laid out in her book Body by Simone: The 8-Week Total Body Makeover Plan, which launched this year and includes a food cleanse she developed with wellness guru Frank Lipman, MD.

But it's safe to say that she's a big believer in eating whole, nutritious foods. "It has to become part of your daily life,” De La Rue says. “It offers so many benefits from weight loss to increased energy to better digestion to a clearer mind.”
