That’s right, there’s such thing as eating for your astrological sign. And while metaphysical meal prep isn’t intended to address gut-health issues (like those indigestible avocados), it can help bring more harmony into your diet, according to astrologers Monte Farber and Amy Zerner, co-authors of the new cookbook Signs and Seasons.
For their book, the husband-and-wife duo teamed up with chef John Oaks (formerly of Eleven Madison Park) to create recipes—think Tahini Lemon Bars, Sage Pea Soup, and Carrot Cupcakes—that work with each sign’s culinary preferences and favorite foods. They all also take into account the seasons associated with every member of the zodiac (because you know better than to expect a Gemini to crave hot soup or a Sag to daydream about peach cobbler).

How they eat: Aries love fast food, AKA anything that can be made and eaten quickly without much fuss. They love starters, appetizers, and breakfast items, and favor spicy and bold tastes.
How they eat: Taureans are the most sensual of all the zodiac signs, so they eat slowly and savor every morsel. They like big helpings and creamy dishes, like a quiche or chocolate mousse.
