Avenue A Ribbon

On November 17, we threw an activewear-fashion cocktail party at the adidas store in downtown Brooklyn, and it was certainly a buzzy scene.

Fitness it-girl Hannah Bronfman was there spinning tunes and taking selfies with the chicly clad crowd who were hoping to win an Avenue A box—the brand’s super cool activewear subscription program, most recently curated by Rita Ora and Bronfman—for themselves.

The wellness influencer took a break from DJing to dish on her best post-sweat style hacks (because she definitely has the workout-to-street style thing down pat). “We all know that when we look cute, we’re more motivated to work out,” said Bronfman.

And she got real: “No, my hair doesn’t look good after a workout,” she admitted to the crowd. “My posting thing is barely even in real time, so don’t fall for it.” We appreciate the honesty.

But her hack—which she came up with all by herself—is using eyebrow gel on her sweat-drenched hair. “I’ll try to slick it down into a low bun,” said Bronfman. “And because my roots get a little wild, I’ve been taking my eyebrow gel—with that wonderful magic wand—and slicking down my baby hairs.”

And, of course, we had to know the secret to packing your activewear (it is traveling season, after all). “My suggestion is to pack one pair of sneakers, and then four tops, four bottoms, and roll them so they’re only taking up a small quarter of your bag.”

So what did the 10 winners get from her upcoming Avenue A box Spring 17 box? Bronfman teased that they just may be getting “the Stella McCartney gym bag that’s perfect for gym wear and everything in between.” Jackpot.

Didn’t make it to the party? Keep scrolling to take an inside look at the scene.
