beauty-obsessions_lauren-adamsFor actress Lauren Adams, the road to a natural beauty routine was paved with a whole lot of disappointment—and one extremely painful allergic reaction.

“I’ve tried every natural deodorant under the sun, including a failed DIY attempt that gave me an embarrassing rash,” says the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star, who’d been performing on the improv circuit with The Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC (with the likes of comedic royalty like Amy Poehler and Unbreakable co-star Ellie Kemper), when she landed her first TV role as Gretchen Chalker, the most brainwashed of the show’s Indiana Mole Women.

Thankfully, the rest of her beauty must-haves weren’t quite as difficult to nail down. A huge fan of juicing and blending her own concoctions—including a turmeric tonic), Adams keeps her daily routine super simple. Here are the (only!) products she uses every day. —Amy Marturana

1. Weleda Wild Rose Deodorant Spray ($11) This is my favorite deodorant because it’s light, so if I need to reapply it for freshness, I don’t get any buildup. I also love anything that’s rose scented.

2. RMS Lip2Cheek in Smile or Modest ($36) This makeup line is phenomenal. I always have these in my bag, and the Living Luminizer is one of the best products out there.

3. Physicians Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Lash Boosting Mascara ($6) It’s natural and organic—and I can get it at the drugstore! It’s perfect for a low-key, natural look.

4. YoungLiving Essential Oils (prices vary) I’m lucky to have an incredible acupuncturist, Andrea at Centered Health Healing Arts, who initially got me using these essential oils for a psoriasis outbreak, but now I’m hooked. The frankincense one goes into my night cream, and I bring the lavender one to set with me to make my dressing room smell fresh.

5. COOLA Face SPF 30 Unscented Matte Tint ($36) Daily sun protection is a must for me—I wear sunscreen all over, every single day. A good friend recommended this one to me when I was in LA, and it’s changed the game. It gives me a really light tint and it’s matte, so I don’t sweat it off.
