I Never Wore ‘Real’ Pajamas Until I Tried This Anti-Static, Temperature-Regulating Set
I have never really been a pajama girlie, with the exception of festive holiday PJs worn on Christmas morning. Instead, I prefer to sleep in either sweatpants or sweat shorts (depending on the season), paired with an oversized T-shirt and sometimes even a sweatshirt if I want to get extra cozy. However, that all changed when I was gifted a pair of MeUndies Modal PJs ($98) and realized that some pajamas are even comfier than sweats.
The MeUndies pajamas came into my orbit the same way all PJs do—through a holiday print. It was last December and I was gifted a pair from MeUndies and the Backstreet Boys, who had teamed up with the coveted underwear brand for the release of their Christmas album, A Very Backstreet Christmas. As a lifelong Backstreet Boys fan I was, needless to say, ecstatic to receive a gift from Nick, Kevin, AJ, Brian, and Howie, but I wasn’t expecting to feel even more excited about the pajamas. Yet, here I am still wearing my holiday PJs in April and telling everyone and anyone how much of a game-changer they are.
My MeUndies Longsleeve Modal PJ Set is dark green with an adorable Christmas light print that, unfortunately, is now sold out (though, that makes sense considering the holidays were months ago and we aren’t shopping for Christmas PJs right now). However, the set isn’t just for the holidays, and actually comes in solid colors that are meant to be worn all year long, like classic black, gray, and navy, as well as some bold hues such as pine green and magenta sugar plum.
I love these pajamas because of their unbelievably soft feel. The material is constructed from MicroModal, which is a sustainably sourced material derived from beechwood fibers, and feel like you’re wrapped up in your favorite T-shirt from top to bottom. One of the key reasons why I don’t love “real” pajamas is because they tend to attract static, which can be super annoying when you’re trying to sleep. But, the MeUndies PJs material is also anti-static, so you don’t have to worry about feeling smothered by fabric that twists and sticks to you. And, similar to cotton, the MicroModal is also super breathable and excellent at temperature regulating, which is ideal in a pair of PJs, no matter the season.

Aside from the material, I find that they also fit really well. The button-down top is a little more fitted than similar styles, but it’s relaxed and stretchy enough to not feel super restrictive. And, the pants feature a looser fit with a drawstring so you can easily adjust it to your style and fit preference. The bottoms also have functional pockets, which is a bonus for lounging and gets an easy stamp of approval from my sweatpants-loving self.
In addition to the long sleeve set, the pajamas also come in a short sleeve and shorts version, which are made from the same buttery soft material and the perfect pair of PJs for spring and summer (and currently in my shopping cart).
