The KitchenAid Mixer That Has Withstood Generations of Fall Baking Is Majorly On Sale for Black Friday
Kitchen storage: It never goes out of style! No matter your age, if you walk into someone’s kitchen and see cabinets galore, it’s almost an involuntary response to say, “Look at all that storage!” Why? Typically kitchen utensils, dishes, and appliances take up a lot of space, and (unless you’ve somehow managed to curate your dream collection of matching or special limited-edition pieces) they usually don’t all fit with one décor style.
But there’s one kitchen workhorse that is destined for prime-time countertop space, and that's the KitchenAid Stand Mixer. It’s a gadget that transcends all ages, culinary styles, and cuisines for its heirloom quality, versatility, and of course, its great looks. Lucky for us, it's $80 off for Black Friday.
Originally $380, on sale for $300
Size: 3.5-qt.
As someone who loves to cook and bake, I imagined a KitchenAid on my counter for years before I finally made the purchase, telling myself I was young enough and agile enough to stick with my trusty whisk or hand mixer. I had watched generations before me use their decades-old KitchenAid mixers to whip up some of my favorite meals throughout the years and knew it added convenience to the process. I finally caved when I saw a mixer on a really good sale (just like this one!) and I finally joined the KitchenAid club. Glad I did; at Thanksgiving of that year, I really felt the convenience of my mixer. Albeit, this was the first year I actually did it all—roasted a whole turkey, made the sides, and baked a smorgasbord of desserts. The KitchenAid made me feel like I had four hands, which, for anyone who has ever prepared a large meal, is an incredible sensation.
I've now owned my KitchenAid Stand Mixer for about three years, and it's only made my cooking and baking routines much more delightful. Beyond that, the aforementioned generations of family members who also owned a KitchenAid? I took a quick poll, and they all still have the same KitchenAid mixer they obtained many years ago. Sure, they've added new attachments to the collection (a personal fave being the noodle attachment), but throughout the years and the various homes and kitchens they've cooked in, their KitchenAid mixers have withstood generations of family recipes, holiday baking seasons, and memories.
