Two years ago, Well+Good predicted the coming of a clean-beauty revolution, and that prophecy has since been realized in spades. Though there's no update yet on the federal bill introduced last year that would regulate ingredients in beauty products, some states and companies have been taking the movement into their own hands. The latest news on that front is that healthy online (and occasional pop-up) store Brandless is expanding its affordable beauty offerings by introducing six new skin-care products for $3 each, according to an emailed press release from the company. Notably, the ingredient list for each product excludes more than 400 harmful ingredients—like parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, to name a few.

The additions to the wallet-friendly beauty and skin-care collection include daily products like a toner, a night cream, and a face scrub, as well as seven new tools, like tweezers and an eyelash curler. The line currently hosts more than 30 products, but you can expect more soon, according to Rita Katona, director of merchandising & wellness innovation at Brandless. "Our buyers are working on awesome new products that expand into different formats and functions within skin, body, and hair care," she tells me. "We continue to launch new products each week and can’t wait to share what’s next with our community!"
