Brijana Prooker is a Los Angeles-based freelance journalist and mom to two peanut butter-colored rescues (a pittie and a kitty!). In addition to Well+Good, she has written for Narratively, Entrepreneur, Hello Giggles, Rooted in Rights and Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine. Inspired by her rescue pit bull, Ivy, she co-created Pit Bulls & Personal Branding to rebrand pit bulls as the sweet and loving dogs they are through the power of storytelling.
