Megan McCarty is a full-time freelance writer who covers the fun stuff: wellness, shopping, design, travel, beauty, and fashion. After earning a journalism degree from the University of Minnesota, she’s gone on to write for a range of lifestyle and design publications. Over the course of her 15-year career, she’s contributed to Domino, Architectural Digest, InStyle, Bustle, The Spruce, and many other sites and magazines. She splits her time between warm, sunny Los Angeles and not-so-warm and only sometimes sunny Minneapolis.
