Now, the fan-favorite brand is launching a line of "genderful fine fragrances." The five original scents debut on the Boy Smells' website, and, considering that the last candle that they launched sold out in its first 24 hours, we're sure they're going to go fast.
Each fragrance will retail for $98 and feature Boy Smells' signature juxtaposition of intimate masculine and feminine olfactive notes in a 65ml glass bottle and the brand's classic graphic pink packaging. The ethos behind the brand, and this launch in particular, is that fragrance plays a major role in harnessing the power of a full spectrum of identities, so these scents are gender-neutral and genderful.
While it's harder to test scents while perusing the perfume aisles of our favorite stores these days, Boy Smells has pivoted its launch strategy to bring scents into the here and now. By using immersive images and almost poetic descriptions that bring scent profiles to life, the brand has created an experience that’s as close to in-person wafting as possible.
