According to makeup artist Mary Phillips, her clients (think Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Lopez, and other eternally radiant starlets) have been falling hard for high-vibe face products. Among the bottles that they're requesting her to use on the reg are Själ's Saphir Concentrate ($175), an oil with botanical retinol, soothing blue chamomile, a biomarine complex...and blue sapphire and aquamarine gemstones (both of which have reputed healing powers—the sapphire is said to enhance intuition, and aquamarine has been called the stone of eternal youth). You can thank these rockstar gems for the high price tag—it's similar in cost to buying loose gemstones. "My clients love when I use this facial oil on them," Phillips says.
Of course, if you're not willing to totally splurge on that specific facial oil, you can opt for something like Aquarian Soul's Moonstone Highlighting Balm ($32) or Herbivore Botanical's Brighten mask ($48)—which uses Khloe Kardashian-approved tourmaline.
Have a strict no-bathroom policy with your crystals? Phillips is also a big fan of Tata Harper and Klurskin products, Olly's Vibrant Skin vitamins, and antioxidant-rich berry smoothies. (And hey, you might want to reconsider—clear quartz does wonders for your washroom.)
