Attention, Coffee Lovers: This New Website Will Match You With Your Ideal Roast
Trade boasts more than 350 coffees from roasters across the US—which would be overwhelming if it weren't for the fun quiz that leads you to a roast that'll suit your style.
Last week, a new company selling roasted beans and coffee equipment, Trade, launched. The site boasts more than 350 coffees from roasters across the United States (ranging in price from $12.25 for 300 grams to $54 for 10 ounces)—which would be overwhelming if it weren't for the fun quiz that leads you to a roast that promises to suit your style.
The quiz asks a variety of multiple-choice questions designed to help you pinpoint a brew that's right for you, including how you make your coffee, how you take it (perhaps with a hint of oat milk?), and your preferred flavor profile.
If you're already a bean expert, you can bypass the quiz and peruse the huge selection of coffee from both big brands, like La Colombe and Intelligentsia, and domestic roasters you may have never heard of, like PT's and Boxcar. Trade claims each bag is roasted to order, and you can order 8- to 16-ounce bags. It also has online tutorials that will walk you through the best way to make your cup depending on your coffee of choice and brewing device.
