There's no reason to give up all of your unhealthy habits—especially if they bring you joy. Instead, just take a hint from superstar yogi Colleen Saidman Yee and adopt a self-care routine that's inclusive of everything you love, in moderation—sugar, included.

In a recent Instagram post, she was incredibly honest about her favorite things. Even though social media can make it seem as though people with wellness-related careers are always embodying the epitome of health, Yee wanted her followers to know that's not always the case—and there's nothing wrong with showing you're a real human being who loves kombucha and binge-watching TV.

"Sometimes dinner consists of standing up and eating peanut butter out of a jar, and don't even get me started about binge-watching Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder." —Yogi Colleen Saidman Yee on self-care

"Some confessions: I eat too much sugar, I never wash my hair (only conditioner), I wear sweatpants 80 percent of the time, I spend too much time in the sun without sunscreen, sometimes dinner consists of standing up and eating peanut butter out of a jar, and don't even get me started about binge-watching Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder," she wrote on the social platform. "I eat at least one peanut butter Perfect Bar a day. I worry a lot—this worry stone is pretty worn down. I have an addiction to Gingerade Kombucha."

Sure, some of her choices might not be considered the "healthiest" by the standards many folks have placed on the word, but Yee said the items bring her comfort daily (so, #worthit). And, to balance out her treats, she's a vegetarian, practices asana and pranayama, exfoliates daily, and reads a lot of books.

Self-care undeniably looks different for everyone because it's exactly that: self-care. And if PB dinners, TV, and yoga are your go-tos as well, by all means, keep it up as long as you find balance with other features of life. Whatever works, right?
