How To Shift Your Full-Moon Hangover Into Growth Energy for the Week Ahead
It's not all bad, though. The full moon conjoins Jupiter, amplifying the ability to catapult in the direction of growth. Meanwhile, Mars in Virgo trines Uranus (the ruler of Aquarius), offering yet another heavy-hitting dose of help, too.
Interestingly enough, however, right after the sun and full moon are precisely opposite of another, the moon goes void of course, and shortly afterward moves into Pisces, emphasizing the full moon's intensity on Sunday morning. So if you wake up feely groggy and angsty, consider it nothing more than a full-moon hangover, but also do the work of detecting what's going on emotionally so that you can make appropriate and necessary adjustments. Again, this full moon brings stories full circle and connotes endings, and it very much shades the week ahead.

Come to the evening of the 22nd, the sun slips into Virgo, turning yet another page in this topsy-turvy year. Virgo season calls us to prioritize creating order in our lives, health in our bodies, and service to others. With chaos continuously erupting around the world, it's so easy to feel helpless—but remember, there's tremendous power in rolling up your sleeves and getting to work on what you know you must. Also, I want to emphasize the importance of walking the fine line between being adequately informed of the news and overconsumption of it (or avoiding it altogether). With the sun in Virgo (along with Mercury and Mars), striking a balance between information and action may come a bit easier now.

Speaking of balance, Venus, the planet of love and beauty, now in Libra, makes a fortunate trine to Saturn on Tuesday. When Venus makes an air trine to Saturn (Saturn and Venus are both in air signs), they form a harmonious angle that may correspond with a sigh of relief. So, expect breakthroughs in thinking, especially around lessons in love and living in alignment with your core life values.
Come Thursday the 26th, Venus is opposite of Chiron, the wounded healer, while Mercury in Virgo trines Pluto in Capricorn. Please circle this day and pay close attention to what is comes up for you then. While Venus's opposition to Chiron may reveal heartfelt tenderness, Mercury's trine to Pluto means that commitments stick.
This is especially important because the week ahead calls us to clear our path by looking for and eliminating the aspects of our lives, homes, and routines that no longer serve us. As we close out August, it's so important to look back and take note of where you've most recently been and course-correct so that you remain on your path as we enter Virgo season. The word to keep in mind for the week ahead: streamline.
