An Astrologist Spills the Tea on the Royal Baby of Sussex’s Birth Chart
I know, I know, that the baby has been born just isn't enough information. You need more! Well, bless astrologers Monte Farber and Amy Zerner. The bestselling authors of Astrology for Wellness and Signs & Seasons: An Astrology Cookbook have already completed a birth chart for the hours-old newborn.
A birth chart is a map noting the location of the planets in their journey around the sun at the moment a person is born, providing insight into specific strengths and weaknesses, and the best time to make important decisions. What does the position of the planets tell us about the baby boy of Sussex?
The Royal Baby of Sussex's Birth Chart
"The royal baby was born just before sunrise and so he is a double Taurus, Sun and Rising Sign—aka Ascendant," Farber says. "Like all 'double' Rising Signs he will be a case of 'what you see is what you get.'" Zerner adds that he will grow up to be both strong and persevering—great traits for a potential leader—but will do this in ways that are inventive and unusual. "We say this because the planet Uranus, which in astrology is associated with revolutionary inventions and free thinking, was just above the horizon and so this energy colors his double Taurus way of presenting himself to the world," she explains.

While he isn't likely to be king, the astrologers say he will take his position very seriously. "We predict that coming to grips with this fact will not derail him but will, in fact, inform his character building with the result that he will be a leader in whatever he chooses to do and, because of his Moon being in the sign of Gemini and in the First House of his birth horoscope chart, he will be known as one of the greatest intellects and orators ever to be a part of the Royal Family," Farber says, pointing to his Saturn and Pluto conjunction, both in the sign of Capricorn and in his Tenth House, the house of How We Make Our Way In The World.
The astrologists expect him to be outgoing like his dad. "His Jupiter is in the sign of Sagittarius, the most fortunate position for the planet known as The Bringer of Good Fortune and it is in the Eight House of his chart, the house of power and the stewardship of other people’s resources," Zerner says.
