While plenty of brow products exist to tint, fill in, and shape your already awesome natural canvas, Mirren decided to give microblading a try, which involves using tiny blades and light, feather-like strokes with semi-permanent ink to achieve a natural-looking result. "I was fed up with my brows barely being there and when one of my girlfriends got it done, I thought that they looked great," Mirren told The Daily Mail. "They’re very lightly and delicately done—but it means that when I get up in the morning and I have no makeup on, at least I have eyebrows. It’s made a huge difference."

You don't have to get inked to steal Mirren's age-defying secret, though: In addition to easy-to-use products that can help you achieve the same thick, bushy results, you could also simply pick up some almond oil, which is full of moisturizing properties that encourage your hair to grow. If you're still having issues achieving your maximum forehead caterpillar potential, there's another option: brow tinting. According to Hibba Hapil, founder of New York–based Hibba Beauty, which offers vegan dye, you can make your eyebrows look bolder ASAP by getting dye applied that will stick around for three to four weeks, sometimes longer.
Whichever method you try, Mirren is definitely onto something with her campaign to make your eyebrows a top priority of your low-maintenance beauty routine.
