How the Kardashians’ Hairstylist Spends $100 on Beauty Products
Jen Atkin is busy. Not only is she's an in-demand hairstylist, she's also the brains behind the inspiration destination Mane Addicts and the founder of the cool-girl hair-care line Ouai, which she tells me that she "created for the girl on-the-go who only has five minutes to do her hair."
In other words, for every girl out there—including herself. Since landing her first major gig as an assistant on tour with Madonna, she's become one of the most sought-after professionals in the business, jet-setting around the world to work with stars like Chrissy Teigen, the Kardashian and Jenner sisters, as well as Bella Hadid.
Her brand, which promises will make sure busy girls everywhere look their best without having to spend hours in front of the mirror, basically sums up Atkin's approach to beauty as well. As we chat all things hair, skin, and makeup at the Revolve Beauty Pop-Up in Los Angeles, I'm happy to hear that her routine is as carefree and easy-going as she is. Here, three items in her rotation.

KNC Lip Masks, $25
“I use these about once a week and love them because they leave my lips super hydrated for a smooth look,” she says.
Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam, $22
“It's unlike any other hair products on the market. You can extend between washes three to four days," she says. "It’s dry shampoo on steroids. You need it in your purse, your gym bag and your hair—right now.”
Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer, $48
“This is one of the only products that I use," Atkin tells me. "It gives me great coverage especially for my melasma.”
Now that you've got Atkin's picks, here's how a top dermatologist would spend $100 on beauty and here's how a makeup artist would spend $100.
