Jenna Lyons’ Apartment Is the Lush, Unplugged Stuff of Dreams
As the woman who became the face of J.Crew, in part thanks to her trademark over-size glasses, gender-nonconforming style, and unique approach to aesthetics, Jenna Lyons' personal life—and indeed, her home—carry an allure of mythical proportions. When the designer and icon sold her Brooklyn home in 2012, it made headlines, and though there's been scant documentation of her new digs (she's a ghost on the internet), Lyons gave T Magazine a tour of her incredibly aspirational Soho loft in New York City.
The apartment is all windows and natural sunlight, which might explain how Lyons (who is no longer at J.Crew) has managed to keep some huge, lush greenery alive. The color palette is soft with splashes of vibrancy—millennial pink couches, gold accent walls, leopard-print poufs, toile panels (Hérmes, swoon).

The urban oasis also looks like the ideal place to unwind, thanks to its sanctuary-like vibes. Lyons' TV is hidden inside the wall (digital-detox friendly), and not only is her double shower marble from floor-to-ceiling, but it also houses plants. And her closet is the highly organized and color-coded one you likely see nightly in your dreams.
