The Easy Way That Jennifer Lopez Has Found Happiness and Confidence
Jennifer Lopez (AKA the queen) hasn't actually always had the badass confidence that she's seemingly always radiated (like, ever since her hit "If You Had My Love"). But she turns to positive thinking to help boost her sense of self.
In a recent cover story with Harper's Bazaar, the star admits that she's very serious about affirmations. “Affirmations are so important,” she says. “I am youthful and timeless. I tell myself that every day, a few times a day. It sounds like clichéd bullshit, but it’s not: Age is all in your mind. Look at Jane Fonda.”
“I am youthful and timeless. I tell myself that every day, a few times a day."
By looking at these mantras every day, she's able to make them stick. “My life is full of loving and joyful people, and my workplace is filled with adventure,” Lopez says, quoting one of her faves. “I know it’s funny. The affirmations are everywhere. I forget that they’re all here. They’re just part of the house now.” Hey, if mantra pillows work for J.Lo, it shows that self-love don't cost much of a thing.
