You’ll Never Guess How Many Steps Are in Lucy Hale’s Skin-Care Routine
While there's nothing wrong with a streamlined regimen, it's also totally fine to lean toward something more involved. (Hey, triple-masking is popular for a reason, after all.) And when your self-care ritual pulls double duty by gifting you a flawless canvas in the form of your face, why not capitalize? Hale is game: "It's important to take care of your skin to begin with and then you don't really need to do much to enhance what's already there," she told Allure. "I enjoy [my routine]. I never skip it. I look forward to it at night."

In fact, she enjoys it so much that she starts her steps as soon as possible—sometimes even in the car on her way home at night, thanks to her trusty face wipes. But once she gets back to her place, that's where the real fun starts. After washing her face four times—starting with a cleansing balm or oil—she uses a cleansing milk.
Next up, if it's "that time during the week," she'll use an exfoliator then do "one more wash through with the cleansing milk." After hopping in the shower, she goes over her skin with a cotton pad soaked with micellar water because "there's makeup hidden in places you never think about."
No matter your favorite form of self-care, whether it's cracking open a book or snapping artistic shots on a camera, just work toward loving it as much as Hale loves her skin-care routine.
