This Chic New Brand Wants to Give Your Activewear Drawer a Sleek, Monochromatic Edit
The inaugural capsule from Missbish is completely monochromic (similar to goop's first collection), featuring all black everything in a way that gives activewear a Yeezy, Vetements-like treatment. There are leggings, pants, sports bras, muscle tanks, and everything in between you could possible want. And bonus: All the pieces make sense in the gym and at happy hour for a healthy cocktail.
According to Fashionista, Missbish co-founder Lindsay Jang is of the live-in-Lululemon persuasion and strives to bring a more fashion-forward (Jang cites Acne Studios and Alexander Wang among her influences) edge to workout wear.
"It was important for me to have function really supersede anything else. If the design's functionality didn't work, then we didn't do it." —Lindsay Jang, MissBish co-founder
"It was so much more complicated than I ever would have imagined," Jang said of creating the versatile collection. Luckily, she and her team were able to work out those kinks, otherwise there wouldn't have been a collection, according to Jang. "It was important for me to have function really supersede anything else. If the design's functionality didn't work, then we didn't do it."
