I Tried Sephora’s Best-Selling Concealer, and These Are My Honest Thoughts
As a hard-core no-makeup-makeup stan, concealer is my forever best friend. I love being able to cover up any pimples, dark spots, or under-eye circles without piling on a ton of product. The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer has been my go-to for years, and I'm not alone—it's Sephora's best-selling concealer and has over 7,000 5-star reviews.
I have dry skin, so I don't like using products that cake onto skin or that require powder to stay put. This concealer has a gorgeous satin finish, so unlike matte concealers, it doesn't cake or make my skin look dry or tight. Plus, once I put it on, it doesn't budge or crease. When looking for a concealer to use on dry skin, pros recommend seeking out formulas that contain hydrating ingredients, and this one's got vitamin E to help moisturize skin while it brightens and conceals.
It's available in 30 shades with a variety of undertones, and I've got two of them in my personal collection. I blend it out with my fingers, then add a bit of cream blush, mascara, and brow products before topping it all off with setting spray. It provides medium, buildable coverage, so you can decide exactly what type of look you're going for as you layer it on. On days when I do decide to wear it with other complexion products, I like to apply it on top of my foundation then blend it out with a damp beauty sponge.
