Fear Not: This Photo of Ruth Bader Ginsburg Planking Proves the Supreme Court Justice Is Staying Strong
Ginsburg's personal trainer of nearly 20 years Bryant Johnson even released a book detailing her workout, The RBG Workout: How She Stays Strong…and You Can Too! Not shockingly, the routine is just as tough as she is.
According to the New York Post, the dynamic duo has met twice a week—and every week!—in a gym specifically for justices where Ginsburg is typically found in sweatpants, a T-shirt, and her "Super Diva!" sweatshirt. In fact, aside from that cheeky top, she's so serious about her training sessions that Johnson revealed RBG once even left dinner with President Obama early just so she could get in her sweat sesh. Yeah—that's dedication, the kind the former POTUS and Michelle share.
RBG does two sets of 10 regular push-ups—AKA not the kind on her knees, Self reports.
So what exactly can RBG be found doing at at the gym? According to Self, after warming up on the elliptical machine for a few minutes and stretching out, she does a 30-second plank, a 15-second side plank on each side, then another 30-second plank.

Next, she typically uses the chest press, leg extension, lat pull-down, cable row, and chest fly machines—all exercises detailed in the book. After the machines, RBG does her favorite move: push-ups. And the most impressive part? She does two sets of 10 regular push-ups—AKA not the kind on her knees.
After push-ups, the rest of the workout consists of booty exercises like leg raises, donkey kicks, and roundhouse kicks. Then, a final move is called "sitting on the toilet," in which she holds a medicine ball, sits on a bench, stands up, and throws it to Johnson, reports Self.
Next time you're having trouble finding the motivation to do your workout, just think: #WWRBGD?
