Selena Gomez’s New Puma Collab Will Give You Serious Velvet Flashback Feels

Selena Gomez is recovering from her kidney transplant surgery in the best way possible: with a chic Puma collab. After spending her summer resting up from battling lupus, the pop star is on the road to recovery and totally ready to take on her role as the brand's newest celebrity designer.

"Being part of the Puma family is very exciting for me,” Gomez said in a press release. “Puma has changed the game when it comes to the mash-up of athletic wear and fashion. It’s amazing to see this influence on style and culture, and I’m excited to be a part of it. I am hoping that we can create something special together. We already have some really cool projects in the works."

According to Vogue, her partnership with Puma is going to be an "ongoing series of projects" that will allow her to "design product and help direct future campaigns." And based off the looks that have been released so far, that's great news for your athleisure collection: Gomez's first collection has consisted of luxe velvet tops and jackets to wear out and about, as well as sports bras and high-waisted shorts to sweat in at the gym.
