Oat Milk Has Officially Infiltrated Your Neighborhood Starbucks
Before today, Starbucks only offered oat milk at a handful of select locations. But now it's officially been added to 1,300 Starbucks cafes throughout the Midwest, including many in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin. That means you'll now be able to choose from an impressive alt-milk selection for your beloved lattes that includes oat, almond, coconut, and soy milk.

Previously, Starbucks announced that Elmhurst would supply oat milk to its stores, but for this major Midwestern expansion the company tapped Oatly. (This makes sense since it was Oatly that made everyone fall in love with the oat milk in the first place.) The release also comes hand-in-hand with a new menu item: the Oatmilk Honey Latte, with steamed oat milk, espresso, and a toasted honey topping.
So far there's no word on when oat milk will be available elsewhere, but the odds of a nationwide release are looking good.
