Target Is Launching a New Line of Super-Cute (Affordable) Activewear
To continue proving it's reading the minds and desires of its customers? Target just announced that it's launching an activewear line in October, aptly called JoyLab.
Target says it has been looking to release something more, well, bold (you know, to match the unicorn prints lining your leggings drawer right now).
Bouncing off the success of the retailer's C9 Champion line, Target says it has been looking to release something more, well, bold (you know, to match the unicorn prints lining your leggings drawer right now).
"Those looking for a little edgier, street-fashion vibe will love JoyLab," Mark Tritton, Target's executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, said in a statement. "It's fitness-meets-fashion-and-function."
While there aren't too many images of the actual activewear line yet, one photo reveals several pieces that give us heart eyes. Expect a dusty rose floral print sports bra, a hooded, sleeveless gray tank in a sweatshirt material (for those hard-to-predict weather days), and a crop tank and legging set in a sporty, primary color pattern. So, clearly Target's tuning in to all of your activewear dreams.

The brand didn't release prices for the JoyLab pieces, but for comparison's sake, take a look at Target's C9 line, with leggings ranging from $25 to $40 and sports bras setting you back $20 or less.
Basically, in addition to being cute, if it's like pretty much everything else Target sells, it'll be affordable. So just a heads-up: If your athleisure closet is getting overstuffed, you may want to start the Marie Kondo-ing now.
