What would you do if you got the chance to meet Oprah Winfrey? Probably the norm: freak out. That’s what happened when Alan Cumming took his Oprah-obsessed friend, Eddie, to an event at which she was being honored. What resulted, though, was a quick encounter that shows exactly why she’s such a boss.

While he was on The Graham Norton Show, Cumming went into detail about the ordeal: At the event, Eddie’s biggest concern was getting a picture with Winfrey, but it didn’t seem likely. Later, as the two were sitting at their table, they spotted the queen herself walking toward them—you know, to go to the bathroom they were seated near.

Unfortunately for Eddie, the camera was way too zoomed-in, and his dream picture only features part of their faces, but he got his wish—and he was also able to hear five words that couldn’t possibly sum up her #ladyboss ways any better.
