Politics aside, the moon moves through its balsamic phase, and we prepare for the upcoming new moon in Scorpio on Wednesday. Take a moment to review where you’ve journeyed over the last few weeks. What’s played out in your life? What did you learn? Then, consider your intention for the next lunar cycle. What do you next want to bring to fruition?

With the midterm elections here in the States, allow your commitment to self-care to lead you to the polls. Voting, after all, remains an essential exercise in using your voice and advocating for your beliefs. Prioritize dark leafy greens, and remember to stay blood-sugar balanced by limiting sugar and foods that spike your insulin.

So tune into your ambition and go for gold. News flash: You have nothing to lose. The best way to work with new moon energy is to set an intention at the time of the new moon. Similar to a new year intention, a new moon intention is an apparent goal for the lunar cycle. Regardless, with Pluto in an ideal angle to the sun and moon, this new moon offers a beautiful new beginning as it relates to your health and well-being. If you’ve been putting off your fitness goals, this new moon offers an incredibly potent moment to reconnect and move forward. It’s the action we take in the days that follow the now moon that support our ability to bring a goal to fruition.

Coincidentally, Jupiter rules Sagittarius, meaning this transit brings forth a homecoming that we haven’t seen in 12 years. This promising and important transit ignites passion and asks all to take a stand on behalf of democracy, our dreams, and goals. Sagittarius, after all, represents freedom.
