With two high-flying spirit animals, there’s the potential to take your goals to dizzying heights this month—as long as you do some serious introspective work, says “RockStar Shaman” Alyson Charles. Here, she explains exactly how to do that, and offers up more insights from her cosmic divinations. 

As August brought energies of greater clarity and focus regarding your new paradigm and where it is all taking you, we will continue expanding into these waves in September. Much of what is conjuring is a greater wealth of wisdom and abilities inside of you, beckoning for you to go deeper within yourself than you ever have before to access it.

This process of diving deep is a choice, of course, and this choice may feel uncomfortable or even a bit painful as you do it because you will be accessing answers and information inside of you that have previously been untapped! But I can guarantee that if you choose to go deeper this month, there will be great riches and rewards—along with some stretching and growing pains.

So, how do you do this? Focus on one area where you’re ready for bigger clarity and answers, and write a question related to it. For example, if you want greater understanding about overcoming trauma in romantic relationships and trusting again, you could write, “How did I do it? How exactly did I transcend the trauma and land in this incredibly supportive, healthy and thriving partnership that I’m in now?” Then, sit in meditation with this question, making sure to sit through anything uncomfortable. With your journal next to you, begin writing down any and all answers that begin popping up. Repeat this process until the direct clarity you need has come through.

This month is about going to the next level with your abilities and ways to be of service in life, so with that, we need to go deeper inside ourselves. That’s the way to tap into the previously unopened treasure chests that live inside of each of us, to reveal new sparkling (and insightful) gems to share with your fellow humans! Think of September as the “ethical and conscious mining for diamonds month.”

Overall September brings a new kind of power—can you see that some of your main lifelong visions and dreams are closer than ever?

Another main theme that came through fits perfectly with the mining expedition—and that is to trust yourself. Be aware of situations where you could either revert back to an old mindset or behavior, or really be in your new mold. It is time to trust that the transformational work you’ve done has become embodied and a part of you. Talk to your fears, hold them, love them, hug them, and then keep choosing the new. (Repeat if necessary!)

We are truly in a time of walking into a different realm and a new land of higher frequencies, so do your best to enjoy the air! See the sunshine and connect with lightheartedness, joy and ease. September is a month of being really present with yourself and what you are feeling.

September’s spirit animals: the hawk and the butterfly

We have two totems that revealed themselves for September, and they are the hawk and the butterfly. Like almost every previous month, these two totems physically revealed on the day I accessed in to source to receive this forecast. The hawk will help you see your bigger and whole picture for your life plans and aid in giving you that more discerning eye for doing deep dives within. Remember, the deeper we go, the higher we can fly, and the hawk very powerfully and lovingly is giving us its medicine this month.

Our dear butterfly is here blessing us with the reminder that you cannot be in your newness until you release your old, and to be light and dance during your transformations. Butterfly’s message is: “Your wings are ready; look at your new colors! Rejoice! Rejoice!”

One last note for the month is to do something special for your family. Reflect on how special it is to have the love, lessons, and feelings only family (or friends who are family) provide. Pause now and think of at least one thing you can do this month that will express to a family member that you are there for them and truly appreciate them.
