Kimberly Zapata is a mother, writer, mental health advocate, and owner of Greater Than Illness, a non-profit organization that aims to empower children and young adults with mental health conditions. She has more than eight years of editorial and writing experience, and she is currently an associate editor at Parents Magazine.
