Taryn is a born and bred New York City-based beauty writer and editor. She has been a writer and editor in digital media for over 10 years. Currently, she is also a contributing beauty writer for Allure and Byrdie. Aside from her love of writing about all things beauty and skincare, she directs independent short films that have been screened at film festivals across the country. Her writing has appeared in publications such as Bustle, Maxim, Thrillist, and Elite Daily, to name a few. Taryn received her BA in Communications and Political Science from Queens College and her Masters in Education from Touro College.
