Chelsey Luger
Chelsey Luger is a mom, journalist, cultural consultant, movement instructor, and the co-founder of WELL FOR CULTURE, an Indigenous wellness initiative that is rooted in ancestral knowledge and focuses on reclaiming wellbeing in Native American communities. She is Anishinaabe from the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa and Hunkpapa Lakota from the Cheyenne River and Standing Rock Sioux Tribes. Chelsey's work has appeared in several publications including The Atlantic, The Huffington Post, NowThisNews, and Indian Country Today, and she has served as a cultural consultant, producer, and copywriter for brands like Nike, On Running, and REI. Chelsey is a trainer and facilitator for the Native Wellness Institute as well as the author of The Seven Circles: Indigenous Teachings for Living Well. Chelsey earned a bachelor of arts degree from Darthmouth College and a master of science degree from Columbia University. She currently lives in Arizona, on Akimel O’odham land, with her husband and their two daughters.
