Christophe Robin Purifying Scalp Scrub (Mini) — $19.00

This is one of Elizabeth’s faves, and she points out that its label is a bit deceiving, given it’s not just a scalp treatment, but also a proper shampoo. “However, it is not the shampoo that you are used to using,” she says. “The abrasive (yet gentle on your scalp) salt crystals cleanse your scalp of product buildup and dead skin, while also cleansing and purifying your hair with sweet almond oil.”

In addition, she says, this product stimulates blood flow in the scalp, which leads to stronger, longer, healthier hair and less hair loss. “People don’t realize how important it is to exfoliate your scalp and truly tend to it, just as you do your skin!” she says. “This tub of sea salt in a glittering paste has the super powers to deep clean, add full volume, and nurse your scalp back to health.”

While you can sub it in for your current shampoo for regular washes, she actually recommends reaching for it just one to two times per week, and says you should only be using about a teaspoon’s worth of product each time. “Your hair will look instantly more voluminous, more vibrant, and definitely healthier,” she says. “So, if you’re looking for something to really purify your hair and give it soft, airy volume, then this is the product for you.”

She does offer one caveat, however; because this scrub contains sulfates, it may not be ideal for color-treated hair.

Hydrating Leave-In Hair Mist — $39.00

Another Christophe Robin product Elizabeth loves is is this Hydrating Leave-In Hair Mist, which she says is the perfect product to use after the salt scrub (or any shampoo) on towel-dried hair. “This mist deeply hydrates dry, fine hair with 98 percent natural-origin ingredients,” she says. “It is composed of pure aloe vera gel, which helps restore the scalp’s comfort, and the spray is silicone-free and ultra light with an invigorating scent that really wakes up your senses and visibly makes your hair look healthier.”

It can also be used on dry hair to create texture or give your strands a refresh with a natural finish, which is another thing Elizabeth loves about it. “Product versatility is completely alluring to me as a stylist,” she says.

Baby Blonde Shade Variation Mask — $53.00

Soto, meanwhile, says that this Christophe Robin product is a bestseller with blondes at her salon. “It really tones down yellow/brass tones without imparting too much grey/violet,” she says. “The result is just a beautiful bright blonde, and it’s also super nourishing.”

Prickly Pear Regenerating Mask — $71.00

Soto also loves this mask, which she describes as supremely hydrating and especially well-suited for curly girls or anyone with thick, coarse, or highly-processed hair. “We like to leave it on for five minutes, minimum,” she says. “It leaves the hair feeling super silky and hydrated without an oily film or weighted layer (where it feels like there’s something in the hair).”

Christophe Robin Sea Salt Scalp Scrub — $53.00

“I think this is one of the most unique scalp treatments out there,” says Soto.”The salt granules help scrub the scalp and remove build up, and with a little added water after scrubbing the scalp, it emulsifies into a shampoo lather to gently cleanse the rest of the hair. I’ve seen this scrub clear up some serious caked on build up when nothing else was working!”

Lemon Cleansing Mask — $49.00

According to Soto, hair with keratin in it tends to get oily more quickly than hair without keratin in it. So, she loves Christophe Robin’s Lemon Cleansing Mask for this population, as it helps to restore hair and scalp pH, leaving the scalp feeling clean and keeping oil at bay without stripping keratin away.
