As the clean beauty revolution rolls on, not only are natural indie brands coming out practically every day, but even major personal care companies have been taking steps towards the natural spectrum.
Recently, Procter & Gamble announced that it’s going to disclose what’s in the fragrance that’s listed on its products—which is huge news, considering fragrance can include a number of chemicals that don’t have to be spelled out.
The latest win for natural beauty? Garnier—the massive personal care brand behind the Garnier Fructis hair line, at-home hair dyes, and facial products—is launching a collection of skin-care items on October 1. Dubbed SkinActive Naturals, it’s free of parabens, petroleum, silicones, dyes, sulphates, and microbeads.

Garnier’s line focuses on three main ingredients: rose water, green tea, and aloe vera juice (all serious skin boosters). And it includes basics like moisturizers, scrubs, cleansers, and mists. The best part? They all cost less than $9.
All will be available at select retailers and Garnier’s website (and nationwide at larger retailers come January). Soon, making a run to the drugstore for moisturizer—and finding choices that don’t have a long list of chemicals you need to Google—is going to be even easier.
