It’s the middle of summer, but a lot of people are experiencing super dry skin right now, and the culprit is likely the air conditioning. That rings especially true if it’s frequently running (truly: this post-apocalyptic lava weather is no joke), or if you work indoors at an office that has a baseline temp of “arctic.” No matter how much moisturizer you slather on your face, if you don’t outsource at least some of the hydration, your skin may feel like it does in the depths of winter.

Luckily, this is why humidifiers exist. Mine have been working overtime trying to balance out the frigid, dry air, but one problem I’ve encountered is that it’s not exactly easy to lug a humidifier around if you’re going to work, are traveling, or will be spending the night elsewhere.
