Actress Lucy Boynton likes to experiment—both with her characters (she’s a fan fave in the horror flicks The Blackcoat’s Daughter and I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives in the House) and her natural beauty routine.
“I do like to be more adventurous—for some reason I feel safer in that,” she tells Into the Gloss. And while she admits to having an affinity for constantly changing her hair cut and color, and gets psyched about trying orange, blue, and purple eyeshadows, there’s one low-maintenance, clean-makeup must-have she keeps in constant rotation.
“It’s one of those products; it just does it all.”
“I’ll use the Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm on my cheekbones to highlight, and then I use it to remove makeup as well,” says Boynton, who stars in the new Netflix drama Gypsy. “It’s one of those products; it just does it all.”
The actress says she’s prone to dry, stressed skin since she travels so much, and favors cruelty-free brands. “My skin’s rather difficult to fix, and I’m incredibly sensitive,” she says. “I’ve learned to be careful.”
Beauty balms have become the unsung heroes of the makeup world—especially after the prolonged rough patch (pun intended) involving the recent EOS lawsuit debacle.
