Before installing a bidet at home, you have to consider stand-alone bidets, bidet seats, and bidet attachments. Bidet seats are the most comfortable way to modify any existing toilet. They’re pricier than bidet attachments, which sit under your toilet seat (and can sometimes cause your seat to slide), but far less expensive than fully integrated bidet toilets.
All bidet toilet seats tap into your toilet’s water source, and some also require a nearby electrical outlet to function properly. Electric seats elevate the experience with warm water, heated seats, and air drying. Before you buy a bidet seat, be sure to determine the shape of your existing toilet: round or elongated.
