I’ll Be Taking a Cue From Blake Lively and Wearing My Hiking Boots Off the Trail, Too
There are so many Blake Lively-moments burned into our minds that we love to relive on a regular basis. The Gossip Girl actress—who was just announced to star in the movie version of Colleen Hoover's beloved novel, It Ends With Us—is a wellspring of style inspiration. Like when she showed up to last year's Met Gala in the most epic, jaw-dropping color-changing dress and wow'd us with two looks in one? Or when she showed up to the premier of The Adam Project wearing the black tie-version of cotton candy, proving rainbow doesn't have to be totally tacky? Yeah. We think about those a lot...
But our favorite looks are the more relatable ones, specifically when she leaned into the "recleisure" trend and wore hiking boots off the trail. In October 2021, Lively was seen strolling through the streets of New York in a pair of Chanel hiking boots that proved gorpcore was back. Paired with a simple white henley top and pinstripe pants, she looked casual and totally cool, convincing us for the past year and a half to take our hiking boots off the trail, too.
While we didn't rush out to buy the exact style Lively wore (they're expensive, to say the least), we did find similar shoes that came close to the star's designer boots. And while more affordable, they're just as durable and stylish as the ones she's has had us drooling over all these years.
