Located just east of Hollywood and Vine, the latest outpost will live on the ground floor of The Camden, a just-opened luxury apartment building. (No, you don’t have to be a resident to join.)
When it lands this fall, expect the brand’s usual sleek-and-sexy design concept—exposed concrete, marble, loft ceilings—as well as four (!) fitness studios.
Other cool amenities will include Pilates reformers, a juice bar, a three-lane saltwater lap pool, café, and spa—plenty to fill the sprawling 38,000-square-foot space.
So why Hollywood, when there's already a super popular club just a few miles west on Sunset? "Hollywood has experienced a significant amount of development in recent years, and has quickly become an extremely fitness-focused community," says Jack Gannon, Equinox's West Coast Vice President of Operations. "The Equinox Hollywood club is set among some of the world's most established studios and iconic landmarks... it's a compliment to the existing West Hollywood club."
And the Equinox universe is going to be expanding even more in the near future. "We are working to secure several other properties in the central LA area, with new locations to be announced soon," John Klein, senior vice president of real estate for the brand, tells us. You could say the brand is flexing its real estate muscle.
