Suzanne Dixon, MPH, RD, is a former writer for Verywell Health covering cancer. A registered dietitian and epidemiologist, she is best known as the creator of a cancer information website acclaimed by The New York Times and Time magazine. Suzanne developed and taught nutrition science coursework at University of Michigan Medical School. At the university’s Comprehensive Cancer Center, Suzanne counseled thousands of cancer patients and represented the school as an appointed member to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) nutrition sub-committee. In addition, she developed and taught alternative medicine coursework for Eastern Michigan University.
