Nearly 50 Percent of People Would Rather Have *This* Home Perk Than Sex
Well, according to MakeSpace's just-released online survey of 1,000 men and women in the United States, 49 percent of participants would give up sex for six months in exchange for a bigger closet. But that's not the only thing people would do for more space: More than 17 percent said they'd take a six-month pay cut for the same reward.
Nearly half of the 1,000 individuals surveyed would give up sex for six months in exchange for a bigger closet.
Sure, these results may be shocking, but less so when you consider that 70 percent of participants admitted their bedroom closet is the most cluttered area of their home. Good news, though: Creating space for a better organizational system doesn't have to come at such a high cost. After some serious purging and smart organization, you'll have an area you love without having to compromise your hard-earned salary or your anxiety-alleviating sex life.
Just imagine all the mental-health benefits you'll reap from tidying up and feeling good about your space.
Here's how to transition your closet from season to season without wrecking your organization game. Or, find out which under-the-radar sneaker brand is in every It-girl's closet right now.
