Like a lot of New York women, SoulCycle spends plenty of time thinking about fashion. The mega cycling brand, which rolls out 14 new collections in its studios over the year, just announced a collaboration with fashion designer Ramy Sharp. Sharp is an avid SoulCycle rider and the founder of Ramy Brook, known for its silk-draped, day-to-night dresses and bright, sexy tops that look great with everything from leather pants to skirts.
The new, limited-edition, six-piece collection will be sold at Ramybrook.com starting this Friday, May 23, and otherwise exclusively at SoulCycle’s East 83rd, Hamptons, Roslyn, NY, Greenwich, CT, and Short Hills, NJ, locations. (Sorry, West Coast!)

Unlike the collection SoulCycle recently launched with Shopbop, or its own on-trend hoodies and tanks, the new Ramy Brook for SoulCycle collection includes a halter top, street-style harem sweatpants, and a casual dress designed for après Soul.
SoulCycle founders Julie Rice and Elizabeth Cutler were inspired by how Sharp would dress after class, Sharp told WWD. So they tapped her to design the easy, soft jersey pieces, which are in muted tones and are named after popular instructors like the Stacey (Griffith) Top.
“The collection is for the girl who wants to throw on something easy after working out. The clothes can take you throughout the day while still feeling and looking great,” confirms Sharp.
While other fitness studios have dabbled in designer capsule collections, and fashion icons from Norma Kamali to fashion brands like Free People have launched activewear lines, this collection is sign of gears switching, since it’s made more for wearing out than working out.
