Julianne Hough is all about that über-healthy, making-fitness-fun lifestyle. The 28-year-old Dancing with the Stars judge (and former pro) has her own (super cute) fitness line with MPG Sport, spent her bachelorette party working out with her friends in Cabo, and is a regular at Core Power Yoga, Body By Simone, and Tracy Anderson (talk about a dance cardio queen).
After downing a pre-workout green juice—then hitting the gym and having a full breakfast—Hough whips up an apple pie smoothie.
So it comes as no surprise at all that Hough is also all about an über-heathy diet. The fit-minded newlywed (she and husband Brooks Laich are currently honeymooning in the Seychelles, NBD) shared her daily food diary with People, and while there are plenty of predictable items in there (lots of water, steamed eggs, avocado, lean protein, loads of veggies), it’s her post-breakfast smoothie that sounds downright heavenly.
After downing a pre-workout green juice (made with cucumber, spinach, kale, pear, celery, carrot, green apple, ginger, lemon, and beets)—then hitting the gym and having a full breakfast (two steamed eggs over easy with sliced avocado and tomato and a cup of English Breakfast tea)—Hough whips up an apple pie smoothie.
The recipe comes from trainer-to-the-stars Harley Pasternak, and BTW it makes for a yummy pre-dinner snack.
Here’s how to make the apple pie smoothie that Hough tops off her mornings with.

Celebs love a good smoothie! Here’s what Olivia Wilde puts in hers, exactly how to make Kourtney Kardashian’s fave, and the recipe Elle Macpherson swears by. (Meanwhile, Salma Hayek wants you to put a smoothie on your face. Seriously.)
