Which Vitality Shot You Should Be Taking—Ginger or Apple Cider Vinegar?
There's the well-known apple cider vinegar option, which can help with sleep issues and detox your body. Or you could go with a ginger shot to reap the anti-inflammatory, immunity-boosting properties of the root vegetable.
But does one vitality variety reign supreme?
"Ginger is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory superfoods and immune boosters out there."
ACV might seem like the obvious answer; its fanbase includes health-conscious celebrities like Hilary Duff and Miranda Kerr. But according to Jessica Rosen, a certified holistic health coach and the president of Raw Generation, ACV doesn't come out on top. "Ginger is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory superfoods and immune boosters out there," she says.
Another thing to keep in mind is that too much ACV is not necessarily a good thing. The acid contents are "not great for your teeth, esophagus, or stomach lining when consumed in excess," Rosen says. It can even cause acid reflux and gastrointestinal problems, and it's been linked to lowering potassium levels, which, aside from being great for glowing skin is necessary for your heart, kidney, and liver functions. Apple cider vinegar does have health benefits that Rosen acknowledges, but it's best to consume it in moderation to avoid the negative side effects.

Besides, there are plenty of non-digestible ways to finish your bottle.
If you've been taking ACV to cure your sleep issues and want more ideas, try melatonin, a natural hormone, or change your shower schedule.
