Shaw adds three tablespoons of chia seeds to about 16 ounces of water for a boost of omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, and antioxidants. “It’s fun to watch the seeds swell and float—it’s very hypnotic,” she says. “They add some texture to water and make it look gorgeous.”
