The Brand Gordon Ramsay Cooks With the Most in His Own Kitchen Is On Sale for October Prime Day
The cookware brand that Oprah, Halle Berry, Eva Longoria, and Tan France swear by has a new champion: Chef Gordon Ramsay. While HexClad has been around since 2017, the brand only recently started popping up on social media, impressing both home cooks and influencers alike with its hybrid-technology design. And a few of his favorite pans are on sale for Amazon Prime Day 2.0—the Prime Early Access Sale, happening now until tomorrow, Oct. 12.
Restaurateur, host, and executive producer of shows like Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen, Ramsay announced his partnership with HexClad in late July, claiming the brand's unique honeycomb design and multipurpose offerings caught his eye, but what really sold him was the performance and versatility of the products. Ramsay tells Well+Good that he had been, "secretly trying them out" for about a year prior to officially joining forces with the brand.
During the pandemic, with his restaurants shut down, Ramsay explains to us that his home became his primary kitchen, and that he found himself using HexClad pans to cook for his family of seven (including himself). While HexClad offers a wide variety of cookware, the celebrity chef tells Well+Good that his go-to is the 12-inch hybrid pan. The size is large enough to simultaneously cook two steaks or four salmon fillets (with room for veggies), make your favorite omelette, and more.
Although this exact pan isn't included in the Prime Early Access Sale, there are handful of other Hexclad products that are—all of which come with the signature honeycomb design, a cool handle, and oven-safe features up to . And if you have to pop the pan to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. If it's time to upgrade your cookware, HexClad is a good bet—and it's Gordon Ramsay-approved. Like all of HexClad’s pans, the versatile 12” pan contains a middle aluminum layer, sandwiched between steel, which conducts heat really well, and offers supremely even temps (aka, you’ll get that perfect sear every time, and you don’t have to worry about over- or under-cooking your meal). The non-stick functionality makes for easy, convenient cleanup. However, unlike most other non-stick pans, this one is sturdy enough to be metal utensil-safe, and it’s also dishwasher-friendly—this is what makes HexClad truly stand out.
